Gratitude

November 22, 2018

I am grateful for all the friends I’ve made through classes I’ve taught, through my website, and through my Moving Your Energy Facebook page.

Writing is not one of my gifts, so I am going to call on one of my favorite writers, terri st cloud,  to help me express my gratitude. I hope you enjoy the writings I chose.

it is in the quiet and the not so quiet.
in the dark morning that holds the moon and stars in silent song.
in the way the day begins before anyone really notices -
shouting of endless possibilities and the deepest calm, all at once.
in the wind playing with the trees,
mixing ancient secrets with the truth of now.
causing the wisest laughter to tumble the branches with the sky
and somehow my heart as well.
it is when the evening enters and pulls the soul so strong
with an overwhelming gentleness that tears are released.
it is in these moments something inside me
remembers what i cannot name.
and gratitude becomes too small a word

   for what has filled me.

AND ONE MORE                                          ~~~~~~~~~

“it is for this day i give thanks.
for it holds all that i am grateful for -
my past that has brought me here,
who i am now,
and the possibilities of my future.
the presence of those i love,
and the memories of those i have lost.
it holds my darkness
and my light.
it holds the fears
that whirl around inside of me,
and it holds the joy
that bursts forth in laughter.
it holds my hunger
and my satisfaction.
it wraps me in sun and sky
and tucks me in gently with the moon
and the stars.
it is for this day i give thanks.
and it is in the glory of this day
that i am truly humbled
by this gift i have been given.”

I wish you love and magical moments during this holiday season. I hope that our paths will cross many times during the next year.

                          be well,
                                 Karyn
